New Sets, New Dancers, New Production
This Thanksgiving weekend, join us as America’s favorite ballet is brought to life by the Boulder Ballet and Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. The grandness of Macky Auditorium on the University of Colorado campus is matched by the scale of this production featuring a cast of 80 dancers, live symphony orchestra, full scenery, beautiful costumes and special effects. Run-time is 2 hours, including one intermission.
Classical choreography is infused with theatrical magic, circus arts and a rare sense of humor. The company dancers are joined by students of the Boulder Ballet School and Boulder Children's Chorale, who provide a delightful attraction for young audience members. You won’t want to miss the adorable mice, toy soldiers, dreamy snow scene and wondrous trip to the Land of Sweets for Clara and her Nutcracker Prince.
